The Esplanade and foreshore are perfect for a stroll, jog, and cycle or simply to admire the ever-changing views over Moreton Bay. Catch the early morning for spectacular colourful sunrises or dusk as the evening sets over the City.
Wynnum Manly foreshore and the Bayside Parklands have an abundance of parks, play areas, swimming and wading pools all close to man-made sandy beaches. There are plentiful picnic and barbeque facilities with over 5km of pedestrian walkways along the Esplanade stretching from the wetlands and mangroves at Wynnum North to Lota.
On the Bay
Take a boat out on the Bay for fishing or just cruise and enjoy the views. Explore the myriad of islands and drop by the sand strucutres of Moreton and Stradbroke Islands. Hop on the MICAT ferry service – just 10 minutes drive from Wynnum – and explore Moreton Island for the day or stay a bit longer.
